Since 2008, we and CHILDREN BELIEVE have been working together on various children focused development projects in Thiruchuzhi block. Main objective was on children education, health, leadership and personality development. Socio economic development of the children’s families (mainly Dalit communities) and trainings and orientation for the parents.
Building awareness among the village leaders and opinion makers, the village school teachers PRI members on Children related issues and interventions.
The project impacted about 5500 families over the years.
It has truly helped in promoting children’s self-hygiene, continuing education, families’ income growth, health, academic and co academic skills.
Child Protection, Child Friendly Accountability Mechanism, Children Forum, Higher Education Fund in CHILDREN BELIEVE are standing examples of how far the supported project has actually achieved its goal.
